The owners of this new build in Greytown, Wairarapa specified recycled Rimu flooring to be installed through their open plan Living, Dining, and Kitchen space. This recycled Rimu T&G flooring produced by James Henry added character and a lived-in feeling to this new country home.
We used black filler to emphasise the character of the nail hole feature and finished the floor with Resene Pro select water-based polyurethane. This finish naturally lightens the warm tones of the Rimu timber.
