Te Aro Apartment – Jarrah Parquet

Product: Recycled Jarrah/Karri parquet, 68 x 340 x 10mm

Finish: Rubio Monocoat Oil+2C in ‘Pure’

Our client wanted a stand-out parquet floor for this apartment renovation, and for it to look in keeping with the history and existing rafters of the building. A recycled Jarrah parquet was selected for its rich colour and durability. Our client opted to have the parquet installed in a basketweave pattern for a distinctive touch.

The floor was finished in Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C to naturally protect and enhance the Jarrah.

Visitors to the apartment now ask if this is the original floor- it’s full of character and looks as if it’s always been there.
